Kindergarchy, NAVA's guest selection - 19th February 2023

Kindergarchy is Amanda Rizkita’s attempt to translate her inner world into music. Her mixes and sets are often tinged with lush & atmospheric sounds, a sense of play, a lot of curiosity, and sometimes a quiet tension bubbling underneath. You can spot her behind the deck at Strange Weather parties -which she co-instigated in Singapore- or on online radio platforms like Worldwide FM, Noods Radio, Norrm Radio, and more. She probably wouldn’t be playing music today if it weren’t for the pandemic times where she finally got the time to sit down and finally start her little record collection. This first part of the mix is an homage to that time - the gentle movement of light, the slow passing of time, one day bleeding into the next. During the second part, the mix mutates into a quiet invitation to dance, although still nothing barely gets above a whisper. Artwork by Vanessa Stockard
