✦ GGI 끼 ✦ Is a club night and rave founded by artist and cultural producer June Lam in 2021, showcasing the talent of queer, trans and nonbinary ESEA artists making waves in electronic music, from London and beyond. GGI  has quickly gained a devoted following after its first few parties. GGI recently debuted at Body Movements, a queer techno festival in Hackney Wick and earlier this month was invited to take over the courtyard of Somerset House, one of London’s premiere arts venues.

The mixtape is the first mix I recorded in my new house in Barcelona. After a tumultuous summer, marked by life changes and beautiful experiences, it's nice to sit down and record something special in the midst of the chaos. The mix is, as usual, unexpected—a blend of tracks I have been revisiting and discovering. It also includes some unreleased tracks by my new band, Cuarto de Pastilla, and other friends.

𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 is a rave inciter and beat architect shaped by her upbringing in small town Alberta, Canada, and an itinerant way of life guided by the magnetism of disparate musical influences. With notable sojourns in London, UK and Vancouver, British Columbia,Overland’s journey has taken her from organizing hometown warehouse raves and beachside renegades to high profile bookings at Berlin’s Tresor and Boiler Room x Igloofest Montreal. Echoes of the myriad of people and places that have helped her flourish canbe heard in her playful, high-energy mixes and simmering sets that weave morphing basslines with propulsive beats. Her driving, dynamic and acid-laced productions have been released on Lisbon’s Naive and New York’s Sweat Equity. Two new records will follow this year on the Berlin-based label run by Marie Montexier, Paryía and Priori’s Canadian imprint, GARMO. Fresh off the back of a newly minted residency for Rinse France, Overland’s mark on Canadian dance music continues to thrive and shows no sign of slowing down.

PONYO is a Berlin based DJ from Istanbul and also the co-founder of capsule berlin and Heartscape. PONYO’s graduated from Femme Bass Mafia mentorship program 2 yeas ago after years of being in the bass bubble. Her taste is interstellar. Rooted in the bass sounds of the UK, her sets transcend genre trapping with dubstep, hardcore, cheeky gabber stompers, hard n fast breaks and unhinged juke bops sounding right at home alongside classic UK stylings. It is always a multi genre madness.
